Limited-edition
prints are made in either of two ways:
(1)
Ilfochrome (Cibachrome) prints, which currently compose the main
body of my work, were printed directly from slides and use brilliant
archival dyes to produce images of tremendous depth and detail.
(2)
Some of my current work and most future prints will be Fuji Super-Gloss
Custom Prints, which are created by first using a drum scanner
to produce an extremely high-resolution digital file of the slide
that
captures subtle highlight or shadow detail.
Images are printed on Fuji's highly-acclaimed Crystal Archive
polyester paper. This allows even 35mm slides to be enlarged up
to 48"x144" with no loss of sharpness. Super-Gloss has
stunning gloss and archival dyes, and it has replaced Ilfochrome
as my choice for fine art prints.
