Paria-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness / Utah
This area of Utah is prized for the unique shapes and brilliant colors of its sandstone. I've always had fun trying to photograph things from different angles, and in this case I placed my camera as close to the surface as I could and still have it in focus. By the way, you'll just have to trust me when I say that the piece of wood was already at this spot.

"More than that, I count all things to be loss in view

of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord,

for whom I have suffered the loss of all things,

and count them but rubbish in order

that I may gain Christ. . ."

Phil 3:8 (NASB)
