the end of October, temperatures are just cold enough to cause
little rivulets to freeze during the night. Not long after this

thin coating of ice that had formed over the leaf.
"Bring
my soul out of prison,
So that I may give thanks to Thy name;
The righteous will surround me,
For Thou wilt deal bountifully with me."
